This policy explains what personal information TD Holdings collects through td.holdings, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. It covers this website only.

Who we are

TD Holdings operates this website and is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at mseymour@td.holdings.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you submit the inquiry form on our contact page:

  • your name;
  • your work email address;
  • your phone number;
  • your company;
  • your region;
  • the capability area your enquiry concerns;
  • your indicated timeline;
  • your preferred method of contact; and
  • anything you write in the message field.

When you arrive from one of our campaign links, the form also records the campaign information carried in the link — the source, medium and campaign name, and where relevant the market and offer the link related to, and the page you landed on. We use this to understand which of our own materials led to an enquiry.

Our web host records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, as is normal for any website.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry and to carry on the conversation you started. Where you have ticked the consent box on the form, that consent is our basis for processing. We also have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries made to us and in keeping ordinary records of our business correspondence.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who it is shared with

Submissions to our inquiry form are screened for spam by Akismet, a service operated by Automattic Inc. This means the contents of a submission are transmitted to Automattic for that check. Automattic operates outside the European Economic Area, so this involves a transfer of your information to another country. Automattic’s own privacy notice describes how they handle it.

Our website is hosted by a third-party provider, which necessarily processes the server information described above on our behalf.

Beyond this, we do not share your information with anyone unless we are legally required to.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses functional cookies set by WordPress and our contact form, which are needed for the pages and the form to work correctly.

We do not currently load any third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our business correspondence, and no longer than that. If you would like us to delete an enquiry sooner, contact us and we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, including under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Kenya Data Protection Act, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • receive your information in a portable form;
  • withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it; and
  • complain to your data protection authority if you think we have handled your information badly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
